Local Identity, Global Core: Motivations of Chinese International Students Amid Rising Nationalism

As the first author in collaboration and under the guidance of Dr. Nora Isacoff at Columbia University, I conducted a comprehensive literature review and authored a research paper on the impacts of nationalism on international education trends.

I utilised advanced technical writing and policy analysis skills by synthesising complex socio-political, economic data and educational policies into clear, and actionable recommendations. I managed the research lifecycle from data collection to publication. I presented the research findings at the Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference in 2024.

The research is currently undergoing peer review for publication.
